Crochet hook of preferred size.
Yarn of preferred size and colour.
The stitches used:
Double crochet stitches, single crochet stitches and slip stitches.
Make a slip knot.
Make a chain of six stitches and slip stitch on the first chain stitch you made to form a ring.
Round 1: chain 3,work eleven double crochet stitches inside the ring to make a total of twelve,slip stitch on the second stitch of the chain 3 stitch.
Round 2: Chain 3,double crochet in the same stitch, 2dc stitches in each stitch around to make a total of 24 stitches,slip stitch on the second stitch of the chain 3 stitch.
Round 3: Chain 3,2dc in next stitch, *1dc,2dc in next stitch* for a total of 36 stitches.Repeat from *to* around.
Round 4: Chain 3,1dc,2dc, *1dc,1dc,2dc* Repeat from *to *around.
Round 5:Chain 3,1dc,1dc,2dc, *1dc,1dc,1dc,2dc* Repeat from *to* around.
Round 6: Chain 3,1dc,1dc,1dc,2dc, *1dc,1dc,1dc,1dc,2dc* Repeat from *to *around.
Round 7: Chain 3,1dc,1dc,1dc,1dc,2dc, *1dc,1dc,1dc,1dc,1dc,2dc* Repeat from *to * around.
Round 8-10: Work 1dc stitches in every stitch around.
From here,continue working around until you get the required number of rows.In my case,I worked seven more rows of double crochet stitches in every stitch.
Round 11-17: 1dc stitch in every stitch around.
Round 18: Work a decrease row of *1sc,1ch st,skip 1 stitch,1sc in the next,ch1* all around.
Round 19-20: Work 1sc stitches all around.
